Juried Shows... a necessary evil!
Most of the shows I submit applications for are "juried" shows – ones where a jury decides whether you are in or you are out – and, as usual, my desk is littered with applications to participate. This process sometimes begins nine months before the show and it takes organization to keep track of what was sent where, and when. Of course, all of this hard work pays off when the acceptance letter arrives – and I can hardly contain my excitement.
